Gaura Belleza™ Dark Pink* is an exceptional beeblossom cultivar that, when planted in full sun and in soils that drain well, will bring a blast of color and aroma to any garden.  This robust yet graceful perennial is hardy in USDA Hardiness Zones 6–9. From late spring into fall, it bears delicate spikes of vibrant dark pink flowers that flutter like butterflies.  The compact, narrow-leaved greenery adorns borders, beds, and containers with visual interest, and the fragrant, long-flowering blossoms attract pollinators and gardeners alike with their delicious aroma.  Belleza™ Dark Pink is ideal for smaller gardens or patio pots because to its compact habit, which only grows 12-18 inches tall and broad.

 This kind is full of useful qualities and is more than simply attractive.  It takes very little maintenance, becomes drought tolerant after a while, and can withstand extreme circumstances for a long time.  The beautiful thing about this plant is its compact size and continuous bloom cycle.  Soil that drains properly and full sun are the best conditions for growing Gaura.  After planting, water frequently until the plant is well-established, and then reduce the amount you water it because it prefers to dry out in between.  Avoid compacting mulch against the crown as you apply it lightly to retain moisture and prevent weeds.  To promote new growth and longer blooming, softly prune in the middle of summer.  For optimal results, apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer sparingly in the early spring.  Enjoy a display of beautiful flowers and the presence of pollinators in your garden all season long with little work.
